Timelines!  Thats what we are currently working on in Social Studies.  How to read a timeline, make a timeline and things that a timeline shows.  We talked about chronological ordering of important events.  We also discussed putting information on a timeline.  Well, my students are working on 2 projects( I hate that word) right now.  One is a personal timeline that they will work on at home with their family.  The other is a group activity.  Once in groups, my students were able to choose who or what they wanted to make a timeline about.  Some choose people, others choose companies.  Its quite interesting to find out their interest.  Here are some pictures of them working on the assignment.  Later on the week, the finished products will be posted and shared with the class.
