FINALLY.......FRIDAY!!!  1/31/14

Happy Catholic Schools Week!!!  And what a week it was.  So much for our kids to do.  
As other Catholic schools, we started with Mass on Sunday and then an open house in the school.  

 On Tuesday, they had a wonderful presentation on Women in History.  It was very interesting.  Thursday was Student Appreciation Day.  We started with a dress down day which I have to say, everyone enjoys!  The students were treated to ice cream sundaes on recess time.  In the afternoon, we transformed our school into a "Multi-plex" theater for our students.  We showed 8 different movies and each student

 was able to choose the movie of their choice and view it in one of the classrooms.  They also received "movie treats" to enjoy during the movie.  This was FanTAstiC!!  I can't even say enough about it!  Enjoyed by ALL!!

 We ended on a good note today which was Teacher Appreciation Day.   (truly it was about the kids again).  We started with the spelling bee which was exciting to watch.  After recess, we participated in the Challenge bowl.  All the students are involved in this and this is looked forward to every year!!  Yea!!  B classes for winning!  :))

 The pictures I have posted here are my 2 Math classes participating in Math Centers.  This is new to both classes.  I usually do this on Friday.  Its a good day to have fun while reviewing different concepts.
