Wednesday, May 7th

Such an exciting day for us!  Today, Jayden was teacher for the day!  :)  
What a great day!  Jayden did most of the things that I would do on a daily basis.  
First, she took attendance.  Then she checked homework in Math class.  She called on her fellow "students" to answer. They thought it was a HoOt!  They were worried though, that Jayden would be able to punish them is some way.....hmmm.

Jayden also helped me explain the lesson we were doing in Math.  Since I was the student, I had to sit at Jayden's desk.  During the Math activity, Jayden roamed the room and answered students questions and made sure everyone stayed on track.  She had fun doing this and the kids asked her a lot of good questions about the activity.  
She was also able to dismiss the class to recess and lunch.  She had the make sure everyone was lined up properly when coming back and quiet.  Shhhh!  Jayden also helped the class go over their new vocabulary words for Science.  

Jayden was lucky enough to even be the "teacher" in Mrs. Menold's room for a bit.  ThaNkS Mrs. Menold!!  When we got back from our special in the afternoon, Jayden helped give out our Mothers Day project that we are working on....but I can't talk about it or show you a picture until AFTER Mothers Day!!  I can tell you that you will LOVE it!!

At the end of the day, there was a little gift on Jayden's desk for being such a FanTaStiC Teacher of the Day!!
