It doesn't get any better then this.....learning about static electricity in the lab!  
 In the lab, we experimented with rubbing a balloon against a few different products such as wool, paper plate, and a paper towel.
We were trying to find out which item would create static electricity.
It was fun rubbing these balloons and trying to stick them on a piece of paper.
 We also found that the more you rubbed some of these items, it would create static electricity.


Never the less, they couldn't WAIT to get back into the classroom where they could have some real FUN with the balloons!
 As you can see, they wanted to see if they could create some
static by rubbing the balloon on their head.


Many of them did just that!

They thought this was the coolest!


 Wait until they see next week when they can watch pepper jump up onto the balloon!!!
