Since the election is all around us, I didn't want to let this opportunity pass without discussing the election and the two candidates running for office. After talking about the job of the president, we talked about topics that the two candidates promise the nation they will do. I had them think about the things they would do if they were president. They wrote a paragraph or two on their topic. We edited their writing together and then I backed everything in red, white or blue. This is the way it came out. I am finding out this week that it is good reading while my parents are waiting for their conference time with me.
